The Rotordyne rotor head, mounted to the top of the mast with pair of cheek plates.
The pitch trim spring tension is adjustable using the friction clamp visible just below the head.
The hub bar is five feet long, bringing the rotor diameter out to 25 feet - a critical factor in the performance of the aircraft (see the Gyrobee Design Features page).
