This photograph was taken on July 4, 1988 (the family
had a bit of fun with the flag) and shows the first time the major frame
pieces were tested for fit. Actually, I just wanted to be able to sit in
the seat and make engine noises! Note that the axle struts are still straight
and that the nose-wheel fork is simply clamped in plate. Without all the
items to be added later, the major structural features are pretty clear!
